Freshest Farewell To Summer! Try This Smoothie….


I ALWAYS love romaine in my green smoothies because it makes them SO BRIGHT.  Cilantro is so fresh and detoxifying, as well as the lemon.  Celery and spinach are just good for you, period, and the banana and green apple pack nutrition and make it taste yummy!  I make 3-4 smoothies at a time, and use a heart of romaine, 5 stalks of celery, a handful of spinach, a pkg. of fresh living cilantro (found in the produce section), a whole lemon cut in half, 1 green apple sliced, and 1 really ripe banana.  Too much green??  Add another banana and go easy on the cilantro until you decide if you like it!
