But in all seriousness, we wanna clear up our name:
HOT MOODY MESS!
At one of our recent Hot and Healthy Workshops, we all went around the room and shared what makes each of us a “hot moody mess”. One very positive and brave woman said, “You know, I’m not gonna go there because I am trying to be more positive in my life, and a hot moody mess is exactly what I don’t want to be.” We were actually happy to get this response because for one thing, it was such a positive and empowering statement. But for another, it gave us a chance to share our mission, which is “Helping everyday women get HOT, but ditch the Moody Mess”. We started this blog because we had been through so many highs and lows, and after becoming certified health coaches and finding some balance in our own lives, we knew we had something to offer that could help women. We could also see what a big role
food plays on mood
and vice versa, which is why you will find a lot of nutritional advice here.
The truth of the matter is that NONE of us want to be a hot moody mess, but unfortunately in this crazy busy world we live in, many of us seem to turn into one on a regular basis! And it’s okay from time to time, but when you are MOODY more than you are HAPPY, you might want to reevaluate. It is your life, after-all!
