It’s 3 o’clock and hunger strikes, what do you normally do? Head to the nearest vending machine? As I am sure most of you know, vending machines have nothing nutritious in there, just high calorie, high fat foods that will only make you crave more once you inhale them. As tempting as it is to run to the nearest one, fight the temptation and plan ahead with healthy, mood boosting snacks that are delicious and will keep the hunger cravings away until dinner.

Here are my top 20 healthy food snacks and the best part….they are ALL under 50 calories. Great way to stay on track and stay healthy!

Reaching for snacks and candy bars is only going to keep you satisfied a short while and then the sugar and salt will only make you crave more and before you know it you are back at the vending machine for more…which let’s face it, will make you a Hot Moody Mess. So remember plan ahead and have one of these snacks handy the next time your 3pm hunger strikes! All under 50 calories, your mind and body will thank you!
